Chapter 10

Valerie

The envelope of warmth Damien and Zane have tucked me into shuffles slightly as the men pull out and help me to the side. Ranger comes to the rescue with a warm washcloth. As much as I love the scent of their cum mingled with mine, I don’t need to wear it. The night’s still young.

“Toby has a surprise for you,” Hudson says.

“And so do I,” Cash’s voice adds from behind me. We get a laugh. I'm fairly certain I'll be okay with Cassius, AKA Cash, lavishing me with presents.

I look over my shoulder and he has a small gift bag. He extends his free hand, and while I’m curious what he has, the bed is impossibly comfortable. Plus, my legs are weak. My body’s still wallowing in the effects of practically being split in two.

Cash takes my hand as I sit on the edge of the bed, and instead of handing me the bag, he leads me out of the room.

“If you want me ready for another round, you might need to let me rest.”

“How about a bubble bath?”

“Excellent alternative.” I want to melt. Can I truly be this lucky or am I sending my heart on a fool’s journey? The real world can be harsh. Heartbreak can be even harsher. All it will take is one of them to be done with me and I’ll lose it all. How lovely of sanity to make an appearance.

“Toby has the bath ready.”

When I get to the bathroom, Toby’s already in the oversized tub with bubbles overflowing. The logistical problem of the mess hits me before I notice there's a floor drain around the edge of the tub. Handy.

Toby kneels, reaching for my hand and the men helped me step in. The glorious warmth of the bathwater almost puts me in a trance as I recline into Toby’s body with his arms wrapped around me.

I spy the champagne glasses sitting on the counter at the end of the tub. Cash sits on one end of the bathroom counter, Ranger sits on the edge of the tub, Zane gets in with us, and our legs are a tangle. I love the idea that it doesn't matter who's who or who's where.

Hudson sits on the end of the tub, continuing with the video, although it looks like a different phone.

“Are you just the videographer or will you be joining us?”

“I wanted to document our firsts. We'll always remember them but just want to have it on record.”

Toby asks Cash to disperse the champagne flutes while Damien pulls a chair into the bathroom and settles himself.

“Is this a toast to us?” I ask.

Toby holds his flute up and everyone steps closer.

The room is oddly quiet as if they're up to something. I gently wiggle my cup. “Are we celebrating officially being a thing because yes, I’m ready to admit, I could get used to you guys.”

“We won’t even hold you to the I love you comment just yet,” Zane says.

“Not that we don’t want to,” Hudson clarifies.
